We’re looking for a Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our Chemistry team in London, Ontario. You will be responsible for delivering in a timely manner the highest level of clinical and scientific quality to everyone we serve with a variety of testing using the latest technology. Your contributions will make a difference – the results and reports you deliver will be provided to physicians and greatly impact the downstream solutions and treatment critical to saving someone’s life. Performing routine testing duties within Chemistry which includes but not limited to analyzer maintenance, calibration, QC and troubleshooting. Ensuring quality control standards are maintained, investigating missing samples and performing routine maintenance on laboratory equipment. Recording, interpreting and/or approving test results. Identifying and reporting of incidents and non-conformities What YOU bring to the role: You thrive independently, applying sound decision making principles and ability to self‑manage in fast‑paced environment You bring a high level of interpersonal skills and you are a natural fit within a collaborative working environment Carry a CMLTO Registration as a practicing Medical Laboratory Technologist in good standing Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook at an intermediate level Solid ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide recommendations for resolution Nice to have: working experience in the Chemistry field, knowledge and understanding of CQI, knowledge of IQMH/Accreditation Canada Working conditions: Physical and Environmental Demands Ability to lift 30 lbs.
