Senior Analyst Trading Support & Client Onboarding Apply for the Senior Analyst Trading Support & Client Onboarding role at National Bank of Canada. The Capital Markets Institutional Trading Support & Client Onboarding team provides institutional clients with high‑quality service and supports multiple trading desks, including Institutional Equities, Options, ETF Market Making, Electronic Trading & Program Trading, Financial Products, Equity Capital Markets, and Risk Management Solutions. As the primary contact for institutional clients you will work closely with Traders to manage client onboarding, KYC, due diligence, account collateral, cash management, margin, security borrowing & lending, trade clearing & settlements, and client reporting, while ensuring the bank’s risk is minimized. Your role Work closely with Traders, Sales, Business Heads, and Technology Support teams across Financial Markets sectors. Provide excellent client service and share financial markets expertise with large institutional and alternative asset‑management clients. Possess a strong understanding of risk‑management processes, investment strategies, and investment products. Understand complex asset‑management strategies and manage overall bank risk in real time. Coordinate client day‑to‑day activities with internal partners, including Trading Desks, Securities Lending, Fixed Income, Risk Management, Legal & Compliance, Cash Management, Foreign Exchange, Operational Risk, Accounting, and Tax. Manage risk through monitoring of Trader inventories, positions, and accurate PnL reporting. Lead client meetings, identify issues, and provide efficient solutions. Lead projects, strategic initiatives, and business‑development growth. Train and mentor junior staff. Prerequisites University undergraduate degree and three years of relevant experience. Good knowledge of capital markets; BCom and CFA designation or Master’s degree preferred. Demonstrated experience in client service and brokerage services an asset. Completion of Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Conducts and Practices Handbook (CPH), and licensing with CIRO within 6 months required; Options Licensing Course (OLC) and FINRA licensing desirable. Excellent interpersonal, client‑service, leadership, and communication skills. Bilingualism in English and French is an asset. Benefits Competitive compensation. Health and wellness program.
