We currently have an opening for an Audit Advisor to join our Audit team.THE ROLEAudit Advisor – BoltonOur Audit department continues to evolve and grow, assisting a wide variety of clients across a range of industries. We are looking for ambitious, forward-thinking Audit Advisor to join our team at this exciting time.Your Responsibilities Will IncludeAssisting the senior management team to deliver audit and accounting services.Responsible for the planning implementation and completion of a variety of audit clients and will be required to support other members of the audit team.Visiting client sites to oversee the Audit including supporting junior team members and being responsible for complex file areas.Communicate effectively with both junior members of the team and management, ensuring management receive appropriate information relevant to the audit.Plan and complete audit assignments and ensure that all audits have the appropriate and sufficient documentation to support the opinion and to document all conclusions reachedPreparation of statutory financial statements from client data.Assist with the development of more junior members within the team and ensure workload on audit is evenly distributed where appropriate to junior members of the team.Manage and develop client relationships.Complete all administration in a timely manner (including timesheets and fees) and to a high standard; andEnsure compliance with all internal and external regulatory requirements.Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of duties and is intended to be indicative of the types of activities that are included in the remit of this role.Additional Role InformationSkills requiredA professional accountancy qualification – ACCA/ICAS or equivalentNewly qualified or part qualified consideredStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent attention to detailThe ability to build strong relationshipsExperience of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, MS Outlook).Experience in Xero/Sage/QuickBooks is desirableExperience using CCH also desirable.At AAB you will have tremendous opportunities that will meet your career aspirations, working in a progressive,energeticand stimulating environment alongside supportive and engaging professional teammates.AAB Group is an equal opportunity employer.
