OverviewTalentSphere Staffing Solutions is partnered with an industry leading manufacturer of industrial air filtration products and is searching for a new Solution Sales Territory Manager, based in Alberta, covering the prairie region (Alberta, Saskatchewan, & Manitoba).The position offers a base salary with a commission plan, targeting $140,000 on target earnings. This role involves selling complex mechanical solutions, building long-term client relationships, and working from a home office.ResponsibilitiesDrive sales and manage opportunities (approximately 80%)Proactively engage with dealers and industry contacts to identify and pursue new business opportunitiesConduct needs assessments with end-users to tailor effective solutionsCollaborate with the Technical Team to design proposals and system conceptsPresent solutions and manage the sales process to achieve a close rate of 30% or higherExecute a structured sales activity plan using CRM tools to manage leads, forecast results, and meet monthly targetsSubmit bi-weekly updates and monthly forecasts, maintaining an up-to-date project pipeline and quoting logEnsure adherence to corporate risk management policies throughout the sales cyclePromote Brand and Build Market Presence (approximately 10%)Expand market reach in Midwest Canada by networking with key contacts and building brand awarenessSupport marketing and customer business planning activitiesRepresent the company at industry events and trade showsServe as a subject matter expert on technology, distribution models, and applications relevant to target marketsManage strategic accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term retentionPartner with the Regional Sales Manager to drive collective business growthContribute to Team Strategy and Growth (approximately 10%)Assist the VP of Sales in developing annual and monthly budgets and sales plansCollaborate across the team to align with broader regional and global strategiesProvide ongoing insights into market trends, competitor activity, and performance metrics, with strategic recommendationsTake full ownership of the sales process to ensure profitability and effectivenessParticipate in regular team meetings and deliver updated progress and forecastsQualificationsEducation & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field3–5 years of experience in technical sales within industrial environmentsIndustry experience in metalworking, wood manufacturing, or food packaging preferredSkills & Attributes:Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing abilitiesProven track record in hitting sales targets and managing complex sales cyclesDeep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics in core industriesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable working in a collaborative team settingProficiency in MS Office, CRM platforms, and quoting toolsAutoCAD knowledge is a plusSolid understanding of capital equipment sales and industrial ventilation systemsFamiliarity with legal aspects of business contractsAbility to interpret technical diagrams and solve complex challengesWillingness to travel 50–70% of the time within the regionWhy Join?Be part of a dynamic, innovative, and growing international organizationEnjoy a supportive, team-oriented work culture where your contributions matterCompetitive salary and benefits including PTO, healthcare, 401(k), disability, and life insuranceWhat’s in it for you?The opportunity to join an industry leader, sell interesting and complex mechanical solutions, built on long-term established relationships.
