Team Lead, FP&A

About the CompanyOur client is a transportation and logistics company. They are looking for a Team Lead, FP&A who will be responsible for completing complex financial planning and analysis requirements, offering accurate reporting and thorough analysis on key business information and drivers. The Team, Lead FP&A is a tactical reporter of the business, with a financial focus that extends to all operating areas of the business, reporting to the Manager, FP&A. About the Opportunity Reporting to the Manager, FP&A, and will perform financial forecasting and budgeting to support business planning and decision-making processes. Develop financial models, forecasts and budgets costing models/ scenario analysis models to analyse product profitability using data and financial analysis tools. Compile, analyse and distribute summary information relating to KPI's & other metrics. Coordinate the implementation of processes that facilitate more efficient month-end reviews. Ensuring the accurate completion of monthly financial analysis for review. Summarize complex financial data into actionable insights. Analyse large datasets to identify trends, variances, and opportunities. Assist in the implementation and development of new systems and processes. Mentor junior financial analysts by providing guidance and oversight on complex tasks. Participate in the orientation and training process for the financial team. Develop and refine financial models to evaluate business performance and support strategic initiatives. Analyse financial results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership. Other duties as assigned. About You 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, with at least 1 year in a leadership or mentorship role.
