The Role: As an Outside Sales Representative in the contractors/Pro industry, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the business in your assigned territory. You will be responsible for driving sales through hunting potential clients (prospection), cultivating new accounts, as well as maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing customers. Working closely with internal teams, you will be expected to achieve the company's sales objectives and have positive growth each year. Responsibilities Actively prospect new potential clients within your assigned territory. Develop and nurture strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty, which includes regular job site visits. Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and contribute to team goal. Promote the Value Proposition to each customer to grow SOW (Share of Wallet) with a high close rate. Create orders and coordinate delivery to customer through expediting team; review material requirements with customer, including qualifying blueprint and material take-off. Provide accurate information on products and services, including price and delivery quotation, sourcing new or unusual products, and completing material estimates as needed, along with tailored advice and recommendations to meet clients’ specific needs. Collaborate with the internal team to track prospects, quotes, quantity estimation and orders to ensure efficient sales cycle management. Work with credit department to follow up on overdue accounts; arrange for cheque pickup or establish special payment terms with customer as approved by Credit Administrator. Qualifications Strong customer service orientation and ability to build trust-based relationships with clients. Position requires a general knowledge of the multi-family construction and property management vertical. Strong sales acumen, with demonstrated experience in achieving and surpassing sales targets. Experience in customer outreach and cold calling. Ability to work independently and manage time and priorities effectively. Proficiency in computer tools and sales management software. Position requires exposure to extreme temperature changes, loud noise and dirt when visiting job sites. Position involves exposure to risk and danger when driving and visiting job sites. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory. Benefits A competitive compensation and great benefits are offered.
