Here, you’ll play a hands‑on role in managing dealership accounting, supporting strategic decision‑making, and contributing directly to the continued success of our team. What You’ll Do Financial & Operational Leadership Oversee daily accounting operations including payroll, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting. Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with General Motors Standard Accounting Policies and all applicable regulations. Reconcile bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and sub‑ledgers on a regular basis. Support month‑end and year‑end close processes and audit preparation. Manage high‑dollar transactions and maintain the integrity of all financial data. Strategic & Analytical Support Provide actionable insights and financial analysis to help department managers make data‑driven decisions. Contribute to dealership planning, forecasting, and profitability strategies. Identify areas for improvement and lead initiatives to enhance financial efficiency and performance. Participate in management meetings and help shape dealership goals and business direction. Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and empower the accounting and administrative team. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth. Promote open communication and positive working relationships across all departments. Oversee filing systems, records management, and office processes. Liaise with external partners such as banks, auditors, and insurers. Ensure all reporting and documentation are completed accurately and on time. Who You Are A motivated professional who’s ready to take ownership of their work and make an impact. Qualifications Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in accounting 5 years experience in an accounting role Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance standards.
