And it shows as we’ve been named one of the Best Places to Work in Atlantic Canada by Atlantic Business MagazineWe are looking for a dedicated Claims Relationship Manager to join our teamOur Career Opportunity – Claims Relationship ManagerAs a Claims Relationship Manager, you will oversee the entire claims lifecycle for our clients, ensuring prompt and professional handling of all scenarios and client inquiries. This includes taking over the client contact once the First Notice of Loss is presented and following up and advocating throughout the claims process. Additionally, using our Broker Management System, you maintain meticulous and timely records of all claims-related activities. The Claims Relationship Manager will cultivate strong relationships with clients, Insurer Claims Departments, and third-party adjustors.Specific Accountabilities:Counsel clients on claims scenarios, guiding them through processes and procedures and offering support and advice.Serve as a dedicated advocate for clients, representing their interests diligently.Proactively monitor open and closing claims notices.Cultivate and nurture strong working relationships with claims departments to enhance productivity.Conduct thorough follow-ups with clients to surpass expectations and deliver exceptional customer service.Monitor claim progression to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, advocating for fair settlements.Facilitate claims escalation when necessary, ensuring timely resolution.Maintain meticulous records of all claims on our broker management system, adding notes about each call and attaching all related correspondence.Attend client meetings and conference calls, including meetings with Insurers/Adjustors and site visits.Actively engage in continued learning programs and training to enhance your claims expertise and product knowledge.Complete Large Loss reports after claims closing.QualificationsEducation & Experience:Business degree from a recognized post-secondary institution or an equivalent combination of education, technical designations, and work experience within a similar role or industry.Proven experience (5+ Years) within the insurance industry.Knowledge of Applied Epic Broker Management System (BMS) and auxiliary products would be preferred.Comprehensive understanding of workflows within the insurance industry.Licenses:A Level 1 Newfoundland Property & Casualty license is required to start the role with the expectation to continue to a Level 3 Newfoundland Property & Casualty license.
