The Role This is an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Officer to work on a full time basis. This is an autonomous role reporting to the company Director and based in their head office in Windsor. The responsibilities will include, but not limited to include: Recording transactions Managing accounts payable and receivable Handling payroll and superannuation Reconciling bank accounts Preparing BAS and other tax forms for the ATO Assisting with financial reporting like balance sheets and cash flow statements Providing other adhoc financial support to the project teams as and when required About you The successful individual will have 5+ years experience in a similar role. You will be proactive, thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to pick up things quickly. It will be very beneficial to have worked within the construction industry, but not essential. This person will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to multitask with high attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Suite and the accounting software XERO. Exposure to JobPac/CHEOPS/Coins/Procore or similar systems is ideal. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking autonomous responsibility in an exciting, fast paced and evolving business.
