It is located midway between Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Thunder Bay, Ontario, and is surrounded by wilderness, lakes, and landscapes.**As a member of the Plant Protection team, you are responsible for site access security, first aid and emergency response for the Mill, as well as associated administrative duties. This position requires those in the role to work twelve hour rotating shifts.**As our ideal candidate your qualifications include:*** You have a safety-oriented mindset with the desire to enforce and follow mill safety and environmental policies and procedures.* Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.* Excellent organization and time management skills with demonstrated attention to detail.* Strong computer skills including experience with Excel and Word.* A class G driver’s license is required.**Must hold or must be willing and able to obtain the following:*** A valid Ontario Private Security Guard License, issued by the Ontario Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services.* A valid St. John Ambulance Standard First Aid certificate or its equivalent; and a CPR/AED certificate.If you are interested in an opportunity to work with an organization that is an Equal Opportunity Employer and offers a full range of employee benefits and a competitive wage package, consider joining our Team.
