Richmond Hospital seeks a pediatrician to join our 6-member department. An opportunity exists for an individual interested in providing services to our birth centre, NICU, inpatient service and emergency department.

Richmond hospital is a community academic teaching hospital. The hospital is over 225 beds, sees over 50,000 emergency room patients per year and runs seven acute operating rooms daily as well as a minor procedure room, a busy rehab clinic and an ambulatory procedure centre. The medical community is collegial and supportive with excellent relationships between departments as well as between community family physicians and specialists.

Qualifications

Education, Licensing, & Experience:

  • Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License - Full/Provisional
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
  • Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PAL) - Desired
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
