Overview Volunteer Drivers & Program Assistants – CHATS (Community & Home Assistance to Seniors) Location: Newmarket, Ontario; On-site address: 240 Edward Street, Ontario, Aurora, L4G 3S9. Time commitment: 6+ months, one Tuesday per month, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Start date: September/October. Ongoing opportunity. Summary: Join us one Tuesday a month from 11 AM to 2 PM at the Newmarket Community Centre (Lions Hall) to help drive clients to and from our program and assist with activities and lunch. Responsibilities Drive clients to and from the monthly program. Assist with activities and serve lunch during the event. What you’ll get Perks: Lunch provided; mileage reimbursed at $0.45/km. Requirements Driver's License Commitment: 6+ months; one Tuesday per month, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM (frequency TBD) Details Location: Newmarket Community Centre – Lions Hall (Doug Duncan Drive) Start date: September/October Time Commitment: 6+ months Additional Information We’re looking for 5 dedicated volunteers to help with the described duties.
