We are currently looking for a Senior Trading Application Support Specialist (W/M), based in Montreal, to strengthen our growing North American team. You will be a key point of contact for our institutional clients (brokers, investment banks, exchanges), ensuring smooth production operations, performance optimization, and client satisfaction in a live multi‑asset trading environment. If You Join Us, You Will Client Relationship and Ownership Act as the primary technical contact for key clients, providing high‑quality support and ensuring the reliability of live trading environments. Build strong relationships with trading desks and IT teams, understanding their workflows and anticipating potential risks or issues. Manage critical incidents end‑to‑end, ensuring clear communication and follow‑up through to resolution. Collaborate closely with internal development and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth escalation and deployment processes. Issue Analysis and Resolution Investigate complex incidents, analyze logs, identify root causes, and provide sustainable solutions or workarounds. Monitor production environments to proactively detect performance anomalies or bottlenecks. Ensure strict adherence to change and release management procedures to guarantee system stability. Continuous Improvement Contribute to the improvement of internal tools, documentation, and processes to enhance client experience. Participate in post‑incident reviews and share best practices across global teams. Suggest improvements to monitoring, reporting, and automation tools to optimize efficiency and prevent recurrence. International Support and Collaboration Work with teams located across the world in a 24/6 global trading support model. Support clients across different time zones, maintaining strong responsiveness and professionalism. Work schedule is organized on a weekly basis, either from Tuesday to Saturday or from Sunday to Thursday, to ensure continuous global coverage. Skills and Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Minimum 7 years of experience in application support or production management, ideally within trading systems, brokerage, or fintech environments. Strong knowledge of Linux, SQL, and scripting (Python, Shell, or Perl). Good understanding of FIX protocol, market connectivity, order routing, and market data. Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to handle pressure and deliver under tight deadlines. Strong communication and customer relationship management skills in English (Ideally speak French as well). Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g. Datadog, Grafana, or equivalent).
