Our ACPs perform an expanded role in these communities, providing primary and emergency care to all residents –from newborn to elders –through a nursing station / Health Center in a clinic atmosphere. We provide a unique way to experience an expanded clinical scope of practice while enjoying an adventure at the same time Average assignment durations start from 2 - 3 weeks. The work you will do: Paramedics will primarily work in clinic-based environments and perform an expanded role in these communities, providing primary and emergency care to all residents –from newborn to elders –through a nursing station / Health Center in a clinic atmosphere. Complete Health Promotion, Assessments, support and implementing care using Best Practice Clinical Practice Guidelines. Work as part of a care-team with nurses in a clinic with urgent/non‑urgent walk‑ins as well as primary care follow‑ups. This work requires you to have the ability to think & react quickly to prioritize patient needs because there are no physicians onsite. Candidate Requirements: You are a graduate from an accredited Paramedic Program and are practicing in good standing You have or are willing to obtain an appropriate license, if applicable, through the regulating body in the province or territory you wish to work You have 1,950 hours (or one year of FT year) of work experience as an ACP. ** Only candidates selected to be moved forward in the recruitment process will be contacted by Bayshore’s Recruitment Team to schedule a conversation Bayshore is committed to a high quality and safe environment for both our staff and clients/patients.
