Role & Responsibilities In this role, you will: Oversee the commercial strategy for projects and client accounts, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Collaborate with Business Development and Operations teams to develop and implement commercial management systems that drive performance and minimize risk. Administer project contracts (including project agreements, subcontracts, consultancy and purchase agreements), ensuring deliverables and timelines are met while mitigating commercial risks. Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of client and subcontractor contracts to protect financial, legal, and reputational interests. Implement systems to ensure all contractually required notices are delivered per project agreement terms. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans throughout the project lifecycle, including during the bid phase. Engage with insurance advisors to develop appropriate project insurance programs. Provide regular commercial analytics and reporting to PTAG Leadership and Project Teams. Support business development and corporate strategy through market research, client relationship management, and new opportunity identification. Manage client relationships, identifying opportunities for new contracts and maintaining strong partnerships. Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations and lead project closeout activities, including post‑completion obligations and defect liability periods. Recruit and oversee contractors and vendors as required. Qualifications / Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s or PMP/MBA preferred). 10+ years of experience with Consulting Services, Engineering, Procurement, or Construction firms on major projects. 5+ years of commercial management experience on major infrastructure or energy projects, including experience with Owner Rep, Prime‑Sub, or Joint Venture relationships. Strong understanding of finance, accounting, and project reporting. Experience administering Project Management or Project Support Services Master Service Agreements. Proven ability to lead negotiations, draft and interpret contracts, and conduct risk analysis. Strong communication, executive presentation, and leadership skills.
