K.K. CPA - Chartered Professional Accountant is seeking a full-time on-site Accountant.Company DescriptionAt K.K. CPA - Chartered Professional Accountants, you will join a team of diverse and dedicated problem-solvers, connected by a common mission - turning accounting insights into opportunities for clients and communities all over Canada We span across a broad and diverse market serving privately owned corporations, individual shareholders, and non-profit organizations across the Hamilton-Burlington Area, Kitchener-Waterloo, and the GTA.The firm offers expertise in personal and corporate tax, audit, advisory services, and more, catering to businesses of all sizes.Role DescriptionThis role reports to the Senior Accountant, and you will primarily be responsible for managing client relationships, identifying tax consulting opportunities, reviewing working paper files, corporate and personal tax returns.Key Responsibilities:Managing client relationships and ensuring financial deadlines are met effectively.Reviewing and assisting with bookkeeping for both HST and non-HST clientsPreparing and reviewing financial and taxation documents such as: T1 General, T2 Income Tax Return, Financial Statements, NOA/Statement of Accounts.Preparing and filling of various financial documents such as T4/T4A/T5/T5018 ReturnsReviewing and Filing Payroll, Payroll Remittance and WSIBStaying informed on relevant accounting regulations and tax laws, ensuring client compliance.Collaborating with internal teams to improve processes and deliver exceptional client service.QualificationsMinimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or working towards a CPA.Proficiency in MS Office, CaseWare, Profile, and QuickBooks / QuickBooks OnlineStrong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including Canadian tax laws and audits.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-first approach.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Special RequirementsMay be required to work overtime during month end, quarter end and at year-end or due to operational demandsWe are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates. #J-18808-Ljbffr
