Entrepreneurial to our core our talented team members transcend obstacles into opportunities and are successfully transforming mid-market business practices.ResponsibilitiesDirectly support executive and senior leaders to provide insightful analysis that is action-oriented and aligned with strategic objectivesPrepare detailed plans for the budget process assign responsibilities and communicate to relevant stakeholdersLead and oversee MNPs budgeting and forecasting processEnsure monthly reporting processes are completed in a timely manner and manage ad hoc reporting requestsDrive continuous improvement and automation; research recommend and utilize tools to provide data driven insights in support of MNPs strategic planPrepare management reports with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of advanced complexityGather strategic insights from financial and operational data and present findings to executive and business leadersLeverage your expertise to develop and document processes that incorporate finance best practices and work to advise and train team members on quality of work and sustainabilityAnticipate resourcing requirements of the team and recruit new team members as requiredProvide training coaching and mentoring to team membersCreate a learning / career plan for new and experienced team membersContribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve existing processesPlan advise and deliver on projects initiated by management / executive teamwhich often will include strategic views with forecast or preparing business models with future estimationsSkills and ExperienceBachelors degree in commerce business administration or professional accounting designation is requiredAt least 8 years of related experience working in a financial analysis roleExperience leading end to end budgeting processes strategic planning KPI development and analysis / visualizationIn depth knowledge of accounting practices and experience analyzing financial statements dataAdvanced level experience with Power BI One Stream Agresso and data warehousesAdvanced level experience with Microsoft Fabric Power Apps Power Automate DAX / SQL Python requiredAdvanced system application skills with good understanding of RLS set up2-3 years experience of managing a team and leading larger processes in an organization3 years of using Advanced Excel Power Query Power Automate5 years of using Power BI SQL PythonExperience developing and presenting insights to leadership & stakeholdersProfessional services industry experience is considered an assetWith a focus on high-potential earnings MNP is proud to offer customized rewards that support our unique culture and a balanced lifestyle to thrive at work and outside of the office.
