Job Description AECOM is seeking experienced Inspectors to support the delivery of water and wastewater linear infrastructure projects around the GTA region. In this role you will provide on‑site inspection services to ensure construction compliance with design, safety, and environmental standards during construction. Responsibilities Conduct daily site inspections to verify compliance with design specifications, safety regulations and environmental protection requirements. Work closely with the Project Engineer and Project Manager to ensure construction follows project specifications. Document construction progress, deficiencies and corrective actions; track and report resolution. Monitor conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties. Coordinate with contractors and report inspection findings to the Contract Administrator. Support commissioning and project close‑out activities. Maintain accurate inspection logs, QA/QC records and documentation. Assist with preparation of as‑built drawings and asset‑management reports. Minimum Qualifications CET designation or equivalent technical diploma. 4+ years of relevant experience in a field role on civil, water, and wastewater infrastructure projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Valid ON driver’s license and access to own vehicle. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with trenchless technologies, traffic management for municipal construction, and health & safety regulations. Ability to read and interpret civil construction drawings and specifications. Ability to document inspection and prepare field reports. Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D (asset). Strong MS Office computer skills in Word and Excel. Excellent English communication and documentation skills – both written and verbal. Additional Information Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position. Compensation CAD 65,000 – 85,000 yearly.
