Job Description Join a team transforming the future, one project at a time As a senior Energy Transition consultant on our Strategic Consulting team, you will provide our clients with strategic, technical, and operational recommendations for energy transition, decarbonization, and climate adaptation. You will help position CIMA+ upstream to spearhead large‑scale projects, and contribute to business development, new service offerings, and innovation. Main Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of energy transition strategies for clients across energy, industrial, public, institutional, and municipal infrastructures. Support clients in achieving ISO 50001 compliance, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders. Conduct techno‑economic analyses and energy feasibility studies to inform decarbonization strategies such as electrification, renewable natural gas, storage, and energy efficiency. Position CIMA+ to lead various energy transition projects with large strategic scope. Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities, participating in events, and drafting service offers. Help develop new service offerings, tools, and methodologies to stimulate innovation. Lead workshops with stakeholders. Perform data analysis and reporting to aid customer decision‑making. Prepare documents and presentations to communicate project progress, results, and recommendations. Qualifications University degree in engineering (energy field), environment, economics, or a related discipline; a master’s degree is an asset. Relevant certification (e.g., Certified Energy Manager, ISO 50001) is an asset. Minimum seven years of experience in energy transition projects, energy policy development, energy modelling, or renewable energy deployment for companies. Deep knowledge of corporate energy transition, renewable energy sources, regulatory frameworks, subsidies, technologies, and current trends. Proven ability to lead multi‑sectoral strategic consulting projects with diverse stakeholders. Strong project management skills, including interdisciplinary coordination, influence, and clear communication. Analytical thinking and capacity to propose tailored solutions and innovations in energy transition. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; fluency in French is an asset.
