We help customers evolve their infrastructure by implementing Zero Trust architecture and intelligent network segmentation, laying the foundation for a more secure, agile, and responsive environment. Working closely with our enterprise sales, partner and product teams is key.As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will sit at the heart of the sales process. You will be the technical evangelist supporting customers with the adoption of our products and services. You'll play a pivotal role in demonstrating the value of our solutions, helping to close the sale.Responsibilities:Building and nurturing both technical and executive relationships across the territory to influence preference for Akamai's solutionsDelivering powerful proof-of-concepts, technical demonstrations, and pre-sales activities with customers and partner teamsDiving into enterprise architecture discovery and hands-on software configurationTaking a consultative approach to solutions and solving customer challengesEducating and enabling internal teams and partners regarding our Enterprise solution portfolios to motivate effective sales strategiesInfluencing product roadmaps and ensuring the inclusion of business priorities and requirements of customersTo be successful in this role you will:Have 10+ years of industry experience with at least 5 years in a pre-sales capacity handling enterprise accountsHave hands-on experience with network, security and infrastructure technologiesHave outstanding presentation skills to both technical and executive audiencesHave knowledge in one or more of the following areas is a plus: cloud migration, containers and orchestration, SASE, and oT/ioTAkamai powers and protects life online.
