Job Responsibilities As a Client Service Representative on our Global team, you will assist all existing parties and work closely with the Client Service Assistant, Manager, and Executive(s) to provide high‑quality service. Your Day as a Client Service Representative Print and maintain correspondence and files. Process cover notes, invoices, and other documentation. Prepare certificate lists and issue certificates of insurance. Create abeyances, advise the team, and follow up on outstanding items. Process incoming mail and route to appropriate team member. Update renewal lists and ensure accurate, timely correspondence. Update information in the internal management system EPIC. Accounting / Premium Finance Monitor and follow up on outstanding client accounts receivable. Resolve accounting discrepancies with Accounting Department and insurers. Organize and prepare premium financing when required. Client / Insurer Respond to phone calls and written inquiries from clients and underwriters. Issue certificates of insurance and ensure program compliance. Coordinate with insurers to confirm coverage and amend as needed. Advise clients on discrepancies between program and requirements. Assist with underwriting submissions and client proposals. Obtain claims history and follow up on outstanding information. Provide initial review of policy documents and endorsements. General Follow BFL policies and procedures, including security and quality protocols. Perform miscellaneous duties and special projects as required. Collaborate with teammates to deliver excellent client service. Our Ideal Candidate Minimum 2 years of commercial insurance experience. Alberta Level 1 license. Insurance designation (CIP or CAIB) preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Detail oriented and customer focused. Sales‑oriented, energetic, and flexible. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
