At Red Door, we strive for quality care, advocacy, collaboration, integrity, and accountability.Overall ResponsibilityThe Operations Administrative Coordinator ensures that all administrative functions related to Red Door Family Shelter’s client services/shelter operation are carried out and maintained effectively and efficiently.Your Responsibilities Will IncludeProvide direct administrative support to the Director of Client ServicesSupport shelters operations through documentation management, client service coordination, and program administrationAssist in planning, coordination and execution of projects and operational initiativesImplement and maintain systems and automation tools to improve service delivery and internal workflowMaintain, update and analyze statistical tracking tools to support program monitoring and evaluationCoordinate meetings, seminars, workshops, special projects and events as assignedConduct research and prepare reports, summaries and documentation as neededAssist with managing in-kind donations including inventory tracking and distributionQualificationsPost-secondary education in office management/administrative processes.Minimum of 2 – 3 years of experience preferably in non-profit organizations.High level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)Good experience and knowledge of working on databasesExcellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated successful experience working effectively on diverse teams.Sound judgment with the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.Excellent oral and written communication skills with a level of attention to detail.Superior coordination and organizational skills.Ability to work well independently.Excellent problem-solving skills.Ability to lift and move items up to 35 lbs as required.Employment DetailsEmployment Type: Full-Time, PermanentJob Reference Code: NU012Location: On – Site (21 Carlaw Ave.)Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week (with flexibility to work some evenings & weekends)Salary: CA$58,054.73 – CA$63,437.97Benefits: Red Door offers generous benefits such as Paid Vacation, Sick Time, Health & Dental coverage, Vision care, Life & Disability coverage, Health Spending Account and an Employee Assistance program.Reports to: Director of Client ServicesStart Date: ImmediatelyWe thank all applicants; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE.The Red Door is an equal opportunity agency that welcomes applications from all interested individuals.
