Our Division in Hinton, AB, is currently recruiting for a Journeyperson Electrician.You will be a key player in the company-wide continuous improvement effort by using troubleshooting, predictive, and preventive maintenance strategies daily.You'll Do:Maintaining a safe work environmentEnsuring consistent operations of all electrical equipment in the sawmillVerification and documenting repairsMonitoring product quality and providing feedbackPLC (Programmable Logic Controller)Preventative maintenanceTroubleshooting for various pieces of equipmentYou have:Experience as an ElectricianCandidates must possess a Red Seal CertificateA valid Journeyman or Inter-Provincial Certification is requiredStrong organizational and communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and team-building skillsDemonstrated problem-solving, troubleshooting and analytical skillsWeekend and/or shift work would be requiredValid AB driver’s licenseCompensation Package:The hourly pay rate for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location.Outstanding benefits package including medical, dental, pension, life insurance, disability, accident insurance, vacation, and holidays.Considered a strong asset:Previous experience working in a sawmill or an industrial environment.Your Workplace Location:We are located in Hinton, Alberta, 20 minutes east of Jasper National Park and 2½ hours west of Edmonton.
