Biomedical Engineer - AI Training Apply for the Biomedical Engineer - AI Training role at Braintrust. This is a great opportunity to supplement your income while pursuing full-time or longer-term opportunities — all while leveraging your Biomedical Engineering expertise to help develop advanced AI models. You’ll have full flexibility — 20 hrs/week suggested, not required. Your final hourly rate will be determined by Outlier AI based on your location. What to Expect Qualified applicants will be invited to join Outlier platform and complete an ID verification, short assessment before getting access to the work queue. Required Qualifications Master’s degree and/or PhD in Biomedical Engineering Strong understanding of topics such as: Biomechanics Bioinstrumentation Biomaterials Medical imaging Physiology & biomedical device design Ability to clearly evaluate and explain technical content in English Preferred Qualifications Research or industry experience in biomedical devices, lab research, or imaging Familiarity with statistics, experimental design, or computational analysis Experience with analytical tools (Python, MATLAB, R, or similar) Experience communicating complex scientific concepts What You’ll Be Working On You will help train AI models to better understand biomedical engineering concepts and scientific reasoning. Example tasks may include: Reviewing AI‑written explanations of biomedical engineering topics Evaluating biomedical device descriptions or imaging methodologies Assessing accuracy in physiology, biomaterials, and biomechanics content Providing clear written reasoning on scientific tradeoffs or methodologiesEnsuring technical correctness across biomedical problem‑solving steps 💡 No AI Experience Required — All Training Materials Provided.
