No. : 124629 Position : Manager, HR Operations and Compensation Location : York Region (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Salary : $135,000+ plus pension and benefits Job Type : Permanent, full-time Our client, a dynamic organization in York Region, is seeking a Manager, HR Operations and Compensation to lead their HR operational functions and compensation programs. This key leadership role reports to the Director of Human Resources. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, implementation, and administration of compensation and pension programs. Ensure pay equity compliance and provide compensation analytics to support workforce planning. Oversee HR operations, including records management, HRIS data integrity, and process improvement initiatives. Manage and optimize HRIS systems and develop reporting dashboards. Lead a small HR team focused on HR operations and compensation. Partner with HR leadership and business leaders on integrated HR initiatives. Qualifications Education & Credentials Post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. CHRP / CHRL designation (or working toward) preferred. Experience 7–10 years of progressive HR experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership role. Proven expertise in compensation, benefits, and pension administration. Experience implementing or managing HRIS systems, preferably Workday. Experience in unionized or public sector environments is an asset. Knowledge of pay equity and employment standards.
