Position Title Pipefitter Foreman - Fabrication Shop (Edmonton, AB) – Primoris Services Corporation Company Profile Primoris Canada is an infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries. Services include tailings and hydro‑transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction, industrial facilities multi‑discipline construction, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services. Summary The Pipefitter is involved in the fabrication of pipe spools from 4" to 30". Job Details Anticipated Start: As soon as possible. Location: Edmonton, AB – Fabrication Shop. Shift: Night Shift, 4:30 pm – 2:00 am, Mon – Thurs, OT available on Fridays and Saturdays. Night Shift Premium: $3.00/hr. Foreman Premium: $5.00/hr. Dual Ticket Premium: $1.00/hr. Base Rate: $45.30 (exclusive of employer contributions). Job Duties Comply with company and client safety rules, as well as OH&S standards. Lead a cohesive team. Fit pipe using shop control drawings (acorn). Tack weld fitting components. Prepping/grinding factory beveled pipe ends. Utilize elbow jigs and external clamps whenever possible. Attend required safety and tailgate/toolbox meetings. May perform other duties as assigned, such as operating skid steer. Qualifications Alberta ticketed journeyman or journeyman certificate recognized by AIT. CSTS-09 and/or CSTS-20. B‑Pressure welding experience. Experience in tack welding & fabrication shop (asset). Hydro shop experience (asset). Able to work well in a team environment. Physically able to lift 50 lbs and climb in/under units. Organized and self‑motivated. Bench fab shop experience essential.
