What You’ll Do As a Financial Supply Chain Analyst with Sporting Life Group you will support Supply Chain and Finance teams and provide key analytics and insights to support decision making in the areas of shipping, warehousing, and inventory management. Reporting directly to the Director of Supply Chain, you will support all 3 banners within Sporting Life Group, managing the GL coding of all Supply Chain invoices as well as tracking and providing analysis of the costs. The FSC Analyst will also support the creation of budgets, forecasts, long-term plans, KPIs, and variance analysis for month end, quarter end and year end. Build and own the logistics financial tracking for all 3 banners (Golf Town, Sporting Life and Team Town Sports). Effectively manage the coding of all Supply Chain invoices and month end accruals. Build effective partnerships with the Supply Chain team and partners, understanding the key drivers of the Supply Chain. Support the Supply Chain team to track, evaluate, gather and present data for warehousing, distribution and freight performance and opportunities. Ownership and improvement of the forecast and budget models and variance analysis. Work closely with the financial reporting team to ensure operating plans of the Supply Chain department are incorporated into overall financial plans. Use critical thinking to assist in the development of new processes, systems and models to support the budgeting and forecasting activities of the department. Cross train on all department functions and support where necessary. Other analytics, reporting, data evaluation, tool development as required. Qualifications Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent experience (3+ years). Supply chain/logistics experience preferred. Ability to interpret and present analyses to drive optimization in the Supply Chain. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint). SQL and data analytics skills preferred. Strong analytical, critical thinking, data management and customer service skills. Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills. Must be able to work well in a team environment and independently. #J-18808-Ljbffr
