Senior Java/Lead Developer is a senior-level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.Job Title: Senior Java/Lead DeveloperRequired Skills:Experience with the following technologies:Java (Core, JDBC, MT, Collections, I/O), Spring BootStrong understanding of SQL/PL-SQL on Oracle DBTomcat or WebLogic application server, container platform based on KubernetesREST web services, Kafka, RedisUnix commands and Korn shell scriptingFamiliarity with standard data structures and algorithmsThorough understanding of fundamental concepts like Exception Handling, Static blocks/variables/classes, OOPS concepts, Collections, Multi-Threading, Web services, Design PatternsExperience using tools such as JIRA, uDeploy, SonarQube, TeamCity, Artifactory, Git (Bitbucket)A minimum of 8 years' application development experienceA minimum of 2 years' team lead experiencePreferred Skills and Experience:Experience working with the Scrum methodologyExperience with NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB or RedisExposure to functional programming languages like ScalaFinancial services technology experience, preferably in the reference data domainPhysical and logical data modelingSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesBanking, Financial Services, and Capital Markets #J-18808-Ljbffr
