The successful applicant will be involved in a broad range of projects with responsibilities as follows:Actively participate and drive Montrose’s strong safety cultureOversee and/or technically support the management of site assessment, remediation and monitoring project scopes, timelines, budgets, and communication with clients and project-related stakeholdersPrepare and/or review technical correspondence, proposals, work plans, cost estimates, and reportsEnsure internal communication and collaboration to facilitate delivery of high-quality products to meet our clients’ unique project needsWork within a well-organized, innovative culture with support systems that empower professionals to provide high-quality solutionsTransfer knowledge, share experiences, and support the training and mentorship of colleaguesBe part of a technical practice community that supports team and personal innovation, growth and success at all levelsProactively engage in development opportunities and career growthWhat We Are Looking ForAn undergraduate or graduate degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or a related fieldRegistration in or a member in good standing of a professional organization (e.g. APEGA)A minimum of 8 years’ consulting experience in site assessment, remediation, and monitoring projects with a focus on hydrogeologyKnowledge of BC, Alberta and/or Saskatchewan regulatory frameworksExperience with borehole logging, sample collection, field screening, and sample selectionStrong data evaluation skills and ability to make decisions based on findingsExperience writing and reviewing technical reports, work plans and cost estimates and giving presentations to multi-stakeholder groupsStrong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), and a collaborative attitudeWillingness to provide technical direction and mentorship to junior professionalsExperience with Workday software would be an assetA valid and clean class 5 driver’s license with no restrictionsPreference given to those who have experience managing complex salt or hydrocarbon impacted sitesWhy Choose Montrose?At Montrose you will be part of an amazing community of collaborative people who live shared mission and principles and bring industry-leading technical expertise to their work every day.
