The successful candidate will work on a broad range of projects involving hazardous materials management, indoor air quality, drinking water quality, radon measurement and mitigation, and industrial hygiene, supporting our Clients’ goals of workplace health & safety performance improvement. Overview of Your Role Supporting multi‑disciplinary EHS projects across a variety of sectors. Specific consulting services may include: Identification and Management of Hazardous Materials Indoor Environmental Quality Assessment Services Occupational Health & Industrial Hygiene Services Radon Measurement and/or Mitigation Services Drinking Water Sampling Interpretation of laboratory sample results and comparison to applicable legislation Preparation of Technical Reports Project Management and Coordination of Hazardous Material / Microbial Contamination Remediation Work Written and oral communication within multi‑disciplinary teams and with clients. Project and proposal completion, including financial management, schedules, deliverables, and teamwork. Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and sub‑consultants/sub‑contractors. Work during and outside normal business hours, including some weekends and evenings, to meet project commitments. Travel for extended periods (1–2 weeks at a time). Other duties as assigned. What You’ll Bring to WSP Post‑secondary degree or diploma in occupational or environmental health and safety, environmental sciences, biology, building sciences, architecture, engineering, or a related field. Professional designation (EP, CET, AScT, CRSP, CIH, ROH, ROHT, PMP) considered an asset. Familiarity with building systems (mechanical, electrical, structural, etc.) considered an asset. Knowledge of provincial and federal Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental legislation. Working knowledge of occupational hygiene practices. Experience organising and supporting stakeholder meetings and summarising results with emphasis on written communication. Strong computer skills for data management and manipulation, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Highly Sought Assets Initiative to apply knowledge and suggest practical technical solutions to critical challenges. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a willingness to continuously learn and apply tech‑savvy skills. Access to a vehicle, a clean driver’s abstract, and eligibility for Federal Security Clearance.
