This role is pivotal in spearheading our AI strategy and focuses on developing and validating rapid prototypes, building a durable AIOps/MLOps practice, and delivering a growing roadmap of AI solutions to market, leveraging Generative AI and traditional AI (Machine Learning) using state-of-the-art platforms and frameworks on AWS. What You’ll Be DoingIdentify problems and solutions based on our Product and Technology strategy and ensure that the right AI approach is takenBuild rapid prototypes and POCs that serve to demo and evaluate the worth of the AI solutionsDevelop MVP and production-grade AI and ML solutions that leverage Generative AI, agentic AI, traditional Machine Learning (classifications, predictive analytics, deep learning) that integrate seamlessly with our SaaS and Mobile solutions and that offer stellar user experiencesDevelop agentic AI solutions that solve real problems while architecting for performance, accuracy, cost and safety by leveraging best of breed technologies on AWSWork closely with AI Engineer peers, the broader Engineering team, Product team, Customer Success, Marketing and other teams to understand customer needs, validate problem/solution fit and obtain feedbackUtilize a trust-first approach to AI development, identifying the data needed to solve problems, using data quality practices, proper AI architectures and frameworks and responsible AI practices that result in high accuracy/relevance, low bias/harm/hallucination, with transparency and explainable AI practices and optimized for costAssist in choosing third party solutions, data sources, and services that complement our roadmap so that we stay focused on where we can differentiate our solutionsWork with the data engineering team to assess and improve data pipelines and data quality to train/tune and consume contents in RAG, agent tasks and in training modelsYou’ll use and improve CI/CD pipelines for AI and ML development, using containers and microservices and AWS infrastructure and services that accelerate development What You’ll Need On Day OneA proven track record in developing practical, production-grade, AI solutions with traditional AI (Machine Learning, Predictive AI, Classification) as well as Generative AI solutions (beyond chatbots) involving judicious prompt engineering practices5+ years of Python development experience and FastAPI or equivalent3+ years of CI/CD pipeline automation using containers and microservices2+ years of RAG experience with advanced concepts such as HYDE, Semantic search, chunking tuning, re-ranking (graph-embeddings RAG is a major plus), with an industry-grade framework such as LangChain, Haystack, AWS Bedrock knowledge base, and strong sense of which embeddings model to use and associated configurations2+ years experience working with multimodal LLMs1+ years of experience developing production-grade agentic AI workflows and solutions using one or more of: Bedrock Agents, CrewAI, LangChain, LangGraph, Autogen, Strand, Claude, OpenAI or equivalent, preferable on AWS1+ years of experience working with and configuring guardrails for bias, content relevance and accuracy or using Natural Language Inference tools to accomplish the same, with security and privacy practices against model jailbreaking, prompt injection, sensitive data leakage and other such practices1+ years experience helping institute AI QA testing practices leveraging responsible AI and accuracy/relevance to automate quality testing in the AI CI/CD pipeline, including unit testing and automation of traditional AI testing seeking accuracy of models, identification of model and data drift5+ years of experience development AI/ML solutions that are customer facing as well as that support internal business processes3+ experience with Jupyter Notebooks or equivalent using a data warehouse/data lake to derive insights and inform solution development and thought leadership10+ years experience with computer science fundamentals including high performance algorithms and data structures5+ years in a cloud environment leveraging caching, data flows and managed services on AWS or other cloud provider5+ years experience working in an Agile development environment leveraging Jira, Confluence, GiHub or equivalentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills What Will Make You Stand OutGraph-based RAG and knowledge graph development experience using Neo4j or equivalentDevelopment experience with vertical agentsModel Fine-Tuning and Prompt Tuning: Experience with fine-tuning LLMs and automating prompt tuning processes, using frameworksExperience working with Amazon Redshift, SageMakerExperience working with unstructured contents and OCR as well as computer vision systems to understand blueprints What’s In It For YouThe opportunity to join a dynamic team that landed into the top list of Inc. 5000 in 2024.
