Location: Penticton, British Columbia, Canada. Penticton Regional Hospital is looking to expand its Emergency Medicine group and seeks certified individuals (Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada in Emergency Medicine or Certificate of the College of Family Physicians of Canada (Emergency Medicine)) to join our collegial team. Our emergency department serves an average of 41,000 visits annually and is a Regional Trauma Referral Centre. We have 18 emergency physicians from diverse backgrounds, including CCFP‑EM and FP‑EM, and offer double physician coverage most of the day and evening hours. We collaborate with the University of British Columbia’s Southern Medical Program, giving you the opportunity to mentor 4th year medical students and Family Practice residents. Our facility features 172 acute beds, on‑site CT and MRI, nuclear medicine, a 10‑bed ICU, and ongoing expansions such as the David E. Kampe Tower. Compensation: Alternative Payment Arrangement – annual salary approximately $360,000.
