Full Stack Developer with AI Join to apply for the Full Stack Developer with AI role at Affinity On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is seeking a curious, early-career AI Fullstack Developer to join our Advanced Technology Solutions team, where we’re reinventing how software is built by embedding AI into every stage from design to deployment. In this role, you’ll experiment with emerging technologies, contribute to rapid prototypes, and collaborate within an AI-augmented team to boost productivity, stability, and innovation, all while being mentored into a next‑generation developer. Responsibilities Work within an AI-augmented team to design and build rapid prototypes and proofs‑of‑concept.Apply AI‑native approaches: prompt engineering, orchestration frameworks, context management, RAG (retrieval‑augmented generation), and agent shells.Support the full lifecycle: from design and coding through testing, deployment, and evaluation.Research and scout emerging technologies—bringing new ideas into the team for experimentation.Challenge conventions, propose bold solutions, and test them in practice.Collaborate across roles (architects, testers, business users) in an agile, experimental environment.Contribute to governance and guardrails so AI‑enabled prototypes can safely transition to production. Mandatory Requirements Recently graduated from a Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related STEM program.Demonstrated curiosity and experimentation, such as participation in hackathons, building AI projects, maintaining GitHub repositories, or contributing to innovative technical initiatives.A growth mindset: eager to learn, open to feedback, and unafraid to try new approaches.Comfort working in a collaborative, agile team environment.Experience applying AI‑native approaches: prompt engineering, orchestration frameworks, context management, RAG (retrieval‑augmented generation), and agent shells.Experience supporting the full lifecycle: from design and coding through testing, deployment, and evaluation.Experience researching and scouting emerging technologies—bringing new ideas into the team for experimentation.Challenge conventions, propose bold solutions, and test them in practice.Collaborating across roles (architects, testers, business users) in an agile, experimental environment.Contribute to governance and guardrails so AI‑enabled prototypes can safely transition to production. Nice to Haves Exposure to cloud and AI platforms (Azure AI, OpenAI, AWS, Langchain, Langraph, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel).Experience building personal or academic projects involving AI, ML, or automation.Understanding of agile practices, DevOps, or full‑stack concepts (frontend/backend, APIs).
