Application Support Analyst – mthree Join to apply for the Application Support Analyst role at mthree We are seeking a hands‑on Production Support Analyst to join a dynamic team with one of our clients. You will be supporting front office, middle office (trade support / finance), and back office (operations) daily to ensure business functions run smoothly. You will be responsible for maintaining stability and availability of applications, as well as continuous software releases to add features and enhancements. You will be orchestrating software release which occur after hours on weekdays (primarily Fridays). You will be in an on‑call weekend rotation that includes issue resolution/triaging and infrastructure maintenance. In addition, you will be responsible for overseeing the integrity of the data quality derived from our official EOD Market Data and positions which are priced by our Model Library. Key Responsibilities Quickly address issues pertaining to front office, middle office and back office that impact the business’ ability to perform daily functions Drive improved stability and higher quality of data delivered to front office, middle office and back office; contribute and improve the configuration of our monitoring platform ITRS, while actioning triggered events Document new issues that occur and maintain/enhance existing documentation to ensure consistent steps performed for known issues Coordinate between several groups to remediate issues (Support, Development, Analytics, Quants); investigate pricing failures and resolve issues utilizing various skills including SQL, Unix, Windows Develop scripts to automate processes using a variety of scripting languages. Engage in platform related projects which include vulnerability remediation, business continuity practice and automation of day‑to‑day tasks; perform change and release practices to deploy proprietary and vendor‑based software Weekend checkouts on rotation will be required to ensure stable start of week Rotation of shift schedules might require late shift (10‑7 PM EST) Skills Required Hands on experience working with LINUX and WINDOWS operating systems with an ability to navigate, problem solve, and script via these OS. Scripting experience can be one of the following: Python, Perl, Shell Scripting Strong SQL Administration including writing complex queries and writing, executing and creating SQL reports Hands on experience delivering monitoring solutions that create visibility into platform and application health utilizing tools such as ITRS Geneos, Dynatrace, Elastic Search or similar Proven experience in a mid‑senior production support role facilitating multiple requests and efforts around program management, daily requests, infrastructure and application management and end user support Nice‑to‑have Monitoring experience of high availability applications, batch processing or similar including strong understanding of batch architecture, critical paths, dependencies and the demonstration of proactive trending of outcomes to identify gaps and delays Monitoring experience of high availability trading applications that may include Equity Derivative trading applications Experience within Capital Market Risk environments understanding FTRB, CCAR and CAT reporting GRID / Datasynapse Experience in building catalogues, dashboards, and scheduled queries utilizing Databricks or Oracle databases Experience supporting risk management and analytics applications / infrastructure Experience with reference data, security master, and product management in regards to Equity Derivatives Automation or Site Reliability Experience driving efficiencies to health checks or manual tasks Values & Culture At mthree, our values support courageous teammates, needle movers, and learning champions all while striving to support the health and well‑being of all employees.
