Since our inception in 2017, we've saved schools over $30 million globally, reinvesting that money back into school budgets and increasing teachers’ pay.**The opportunity**Join an ed-tech startup that’s reshaping education. This is your chance to lead a growing sales team driving Zen’s expansion across North America. As Sales Team Lead, you’ll be responsible for guiding, motivating, and developing a team of Account Executives and BDRs to exceed their goals. You’ll play a critical role in shaping strategy, optimizing processes, and building a high-performing sales culture that empowers schools and educators alike.If you thrive in fast-paced, mission-driven environments and love coaching others to success, this is the role for you.**What you’ll be doing**- Lead, coach, and inspire a team of Account Executives and BDRs to achieve and exceed revenue and activity targets- Oversee pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and overall sales performance across your team’s territories- Partner with RevOps to refine territory design, funnel metrics, and reporting to ensure scalable growth- Collaborate with Marketing on lead generation initiatives and campaign execution to optimize funnel conversion- Conduct regular 1:1s, deal reviews, and performance coaching sessions with AEs to identify strengths and development areas- Own the hiring, onboarding, and continuous enablement and process refinement of your team, ensuring consistent alignment with Zen’s mission and sales methodology- Analyze data to identify performance trends, refine playbooks, and share best practices across the team- Act as a key voice between the field and leadership, surfacing market insights and feedback to inform product and go-to-market strategy**Who we’re looking for**- Proven experience managing a high-performing sales team in a B2B or SaaS environment (experience in education, staffing, or ed-tech preferred)- Strong coaching mindset with a track record of developing sales talent and fostering team accountability- Data-driven operator who can use metrics to diagnose performance issues and optimize processes- Skilled in pipeline management, forecasting, and sales enablement tools- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work cross-functionally with Marketing, RevOps, and senior leadership- Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort operating in a fast-moving, scaling startup environment**What’s in it for you**Competitive salary and performance-based commission structureOpportunity to make a tangible impact on schools and educators across North AmericaWork with an ambitious, mission-driven team passionate about improving educationProfessional growth and leadership development in a rapidly expanding startupFlexible working environment and supportive culture focused on collaboration and results**Diversity & Inclusion**We’re building a diverse team of people who want to make a meaningful difference in education.
