Position Overview The Manager, HEOR will lead multi‑disciplinary research teams and provide HEOR expertise and strategic leadership at all stages of projects, from planning to communication. Core Responsibilities Project‑related Responsibilities Execute projects that exceed client expectations while remaining on‑time and on‑budget Determine and manage project scope, timelines, and budgets for several competing projects Develop and review materials for accuracy, consistency, quality, and conformance to EVERSANA standards Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans Delegate activities to and supervise junior staff and contractors Oversee and implement quality control activities Methodological-related Responsibilities Provide leadership to ensure projects are underpinned by strong and defendable HEOR concepts and methods Ensure projects adhere to high standards of pharmacoeconomic analysis and health technology assessment Client‑related Responsibilities Build relationships with clients that result in ongoing business opportunities Develop and maintain strong business relationships with clients Identify and communicate opportunities for future collaborations Company‑related Responsibilities Develop proposals, budgets, and timelines Promote a positive and energetic work environment through healthy and effective communication, a strong work ethic, and professional conduct Identify and develop best practices and tools for project execution and management Contribute to decisions regarding company direction and growth, staffing of projects, and project workload Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias All other duties as assigned People Leader Responsibilities Develop and communicate company policies and standard operating procedures Facilitate and participate in team‑based and independent training Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff Job Expectations Travel: Some travel may be required for meetings with clients, stakeholders, or off‑site personnel/management Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Overtime and/or weekend/evening hours may be required to meet project deadlines Qualifications Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Education: MSc in a Life Science discipline, Epidemiology, Health Economics or related field Experience and/or Training: A minimum of three (3) years’ direct work experience in health economics, health technology assessment, or a related field Strong basis in cost‑effectiveness model design, analysis, and interpretation Experience with HTA submissions Deep understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, EndNote, and PowerPoint (familiarity with R or DistillerSR an asset) Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, demands, and timelines in a fast‑paced environment Proven ability to manage personal and project team members’ time across competing projects Proven ability to identify and respond to different communication and work styles of team members and other stakeholders Demonstrated leadership, team‑building, and team‑motivating skills Demonstrated planning and decision‑making skills Strong strategic, problem‑solving, and analytical abilities Proven relationship‑building capabilities; developing and maintaining strong client relationships, effectively interacting with peers Strong critical thinking, analytical, problem‑solving, and multitasking capabilities Ability to effectively interact and communicate with peers, senior management, and clients Strong written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team‑oriented, collaborative environment Preferred Qualifications Technology/Equipment: Experience in model programming in VBA preferred Physical / Mental Demands The employee is frequently required to reach, grasp, stand, and/or sit for long periods of time (up to 90% of the shift), walk, talk, and hear; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet, with frequent interruptions and multiple demands. Compensation and Benefits The anticipated base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $110,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of Canada. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job‑related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living).
