Role Description This is a virtual role for a Mechanical / Electrical Estimator at ALFA Tech Consulting, Inc. The Mechanical / Electrical Estimator will be responsible for preparing estimates and proposals for projects. This includes analyzing project requirements, performing detailed take-offs, gathering and assessing data, preparing cost summaries, and collaborating with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate and competitive pricing. The role also entails maintaining and updating historical cost data and developing subcontractor and supplier relationships. The individual will attend client meetings and site visits as necessary to ensure a comprehensive understanding of project scope and requirements. Qualifications Strong understanding of mechanical / electrical systems and construction practices Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office Suite Excellent analytical and mathematical skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Effective communication and interpersonal skills Organizational skills with keen attention to detail A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical estimating Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Construction Management, or a related field Professional certifications in Estimating or Project Management are a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
