This is not just another engineering leadership job. The District is establishing an in-house Engineering Department for the first time. This is your chance to build an Engineering Department from the ground up. The Director of Engineering is a key member of the District’s leadership team, responsible for guiding the planning, design, construction, and renewal of critical municipal infrastructure. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and Council. This is a dynamic, hands‑on leadership role perfect for someone who thrives on variety—whether leading capital programs, reviewing development engineering projects, improving engineering processes, advancing sustainability, or engaging with the community. The salary for this position is $140,000 to $160,000 per year with a comprehensive benefits package including Municipal Pension Plan.
