Job Description:The Propulsion System BMS EOL Engineer supports design and manufacturing teams in assembly plants.This role collaborates with lead BMS and Pack Integration DRE, software engineers, technical specialists, other engineers, and plant personnel to ensure successful Battery Management System implementation in battery pack assembly and vehicles.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Develop and verify BMS calibrations.Perform Battery EOL testing, troubleshoot issues, and report findings for resolution.Analyze EOL data using Vector CAN tools, INCA, or plant diagnostic tools to support problem-solving activities.Assist in authoring EOL tester change requests.Support change control processes and establish clean points, including part relabeling or offline re-flashing as needed.Document new requirements, best practices, and lessons learned under guidance from BMS engineering.Support vehicle triage and system-level troubleshooting of the battery pack during assembly and field issues.Demonstrate proficiency in data collection, post-processing, and analysis during calibration activities.Analyze functional models to identify root causes and document controls and software issues affecting calibration progress.Conduct virtual and in-vehicle testing to reach calibration maturity at key vehicle milestones.Collaborate with the center of competency to review issues related to functional areas and follow calibration best practices.Assist with vehicle fleet and logistics activities.Requirements:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on business applications.Experience with data acquisition and diagnostic tools such as INCA and Vector CANalyzer.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to work proactively within a team environment.Proficiency in application engineering principles.Detail-oriented and process-focused.Minimum of 5 years of industry experience.Advanced English language skills.Preferred Requirements:Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.Experience with High Voltage Battery or Powertrain systems.Skills in electronic system troubleshooting and embedded control analysis.Knowledge of diagnostics fundamentals.Hands-on experience with tools like INCA, CDA, CAN, CANalyzer, Canoe, and oscilloscopes.Education:Bachelor's degree in engineering with manufacturing experience or equivalent education in manufacturing principles.We offer competitive compensation and benefits, including medical, dental, 401k, disability, tuition reimbursement, and more.
