WAGE RANGE: $59.97 per hour ($107,707.strong>

MAIN DUTIES:
Manages the effective and efficient day-to-day operation of Woodingford Lodge satellite locations in accordance with appropriate legislation, regulations and municipal policies. Acts as Administrator and Director of Care under the Long Term Care Homes Act. Supports the development, implementation and monitoring of strategic plans and departmental programs for the home.
A Nursing Unit Administration Course, and/or Certificate in Long-Term Care, Organization and Management that consists of a minimum duration of 100 hours instruction time as per the Long Term Care Homes Act are required. Successful completion of RAI training, or a diploma or certificate course in gerontology is an asset.Demonstrated progressive nursing experience and relevant experience managing resources, operations and service delivery in a long-term care health setting.Knowledge of relevant legislation, statutes and regulations related to long-term care homes and program specific operations including occupational health and safety.Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork, lead and empower teams and guide effective project management outcomes.Valid Ontario driver’s license and a vehicle with insurance is required.Please note that vaccination against COVID-19 is a requirement as a condition of employment, subject to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
