The Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) at Memorial Healthcare System is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to join our growing team. Memorial is a quaternary care regional referral center, serving a diverse population, with over 13,000 deliveries annually. Candidates must be BE/BC in MFM with robust knowledge and experience in ultrasound, fetal diagnostic testing, management of medical and surgical complications, and co‑morbities in pregnancy. This is a high‑volume, consultative and co‑management service treating an extensive range of rare and complex conditions. Responsibilities will include performing prenatal diagnostic procedures, including amniocentesis, as well as inpatient and outpatient management of co‑morbidities in pregnancy in conjunction with an Obstetrician. Emphasis is placed on multidisciplinary collaboration with our exemplary team of subspecialists, especially in relation to our maternal and fetal navigation programs. The Division collaborates with the High‑Risk Obstetric Hospitalists in our Placental Accreta Center of Excellence, and the Pediatric Surgery Department of Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in the development of a Fetal Care Center. The ideal candidate must have an interest and passion for resident and medical student education as we play an integral role with Memorial’s ACGME‑accredited Ob/Gyn Residency Program. There are opportunities, if desired, to participate in deliveries and surgeries, particularly for accretas and cerclages. Active collaboration with a fetal surgery‑trained Pediatric surgeon is anticipated. In addition, there are opportunities for clinical research. Chorionic villus sampling (CVS), fetal procedures and/or critical care experience is beneficial, but not required. This is an employed position with the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group.
