Responsibilities (In‑person or Virtual Delivery) Assessment and implementation of SLP interventions (swallowing assessments, dysphagia management, communication, etc.) in a home‑based setting Use of a collaborative and interdisciplinary team‑based approach to care and services Support a holistic and restorative approach to care (enhanced stroke pathway, cognitive communication supports, etc.) Leverage our digital health platforms to support care delivery, collaboration, documentation, and intervention What you need to be successful Registered as a member in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance Focus on person‑ and family‑centered care Comfortable delivering care both in person and using virtual methods/technology Passionate, empathetic, with good judgement and critical thinking in client decisions Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team, and work independently Flexible with demonstrated critical thinking skills applicable to a variety of situations Value the role a therapist plays in keeping clients at home, where they want to be About CBI Home Health CBI Home Health is committed to providing a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace where everyone feels safe and accepted as their authentic selves.
