Position Summary We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented engineering co-op students specializing in mechanical and electrical engineering to join our New Product Development team. As a Junior Design Engineer, you will support the design and testing of innovative bus and motor coach components and systems. Responsibilities include CAD modeling, engineering calculations, preparation of drawings, testing support, and process documentation. Inclusive workplace culture that values and empowers team members. What You Will Do Use CAD software (e.g., NX, SolidWorks) to develop and refine designs. Assist in creating and releasing engineering drawings and documentation. Conduct engineering calculations and research to support design decisions. Prepare for and support testing activities, including data collection and analysis. Collaborate with the team to improve processes and drive innovation. What You Need To Be Successful Currently enrolled in a recognized post-secondary engineering program and eligible for co-op placement. Strong communication and organizational skills. Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with design software (e.g., Unigraphics/Siemens NX, AutoCAD) is an asset. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Previous manufacturing experience is an asset. Our Why We exist to move people.
