Job Description This is a full‑time, flexible work‑from‑home position located anywhere in Toronto, Canada. Perks Full and comprehensive benefits program 24 days of paid vacation/holidays in your first year plus sick days Home office equipment including laptop and desktop monitor Employee Assistance and Referral Program Hands‑on workers’ compensation case management training Responsibilities Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate injured/disabled individuals involved in the medical case management process Provide case management services to injured employees on behalf of carriers/employers Facilitate communication with third‑party payers, providers, injured employees, and employers to reduce disability costs Provide customer/client‑oriented, results‑oriented, quality‑oriented goals in accordance with province‑specific case management requirements Review medical records to assess case management value and identify complex medical conditions Use clinical experience and evidence‑based guidelines to evaluate medical and disability status and assist adjusters in setting reserves Analyze clinical information to identify care needs and develop action plans to promote safe return to work Communicate and collaborate with the insurance carrier to control high medical costs Report billing hours in accordance with case activity and billing practices Provide leadership and assistance to co‑workers Document savings and describe value added to case in closing summary Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field 2+ years of clinical practice (preferably workers’ compensation related) Experience with case management (preferred) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing URAC‑recognized certification in case management (e.g., CCM, CDMS, RCNN, etc.) Computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook Reliable internet access Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and AD&D Insurance; Tuition Reimbursement; and an array of resources that encourage a lifetime of healthier living.
