Job SummaryHR Service Jobs is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst to join our remote team in Canada. The successful candidate will play a vital role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify data trends, streamline reporting processes, and support business growth through data‑driven strategies. This position is ideal for a professional with advanced analytical skills, strong business acumen, and a passion for problem‑solving.Key ResponsibilitiesCollect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, correlations, and actionable insights.Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support management decisions.Collaborate with stakeholders from different departments to understand business needs and develop data solutions.Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with company and industry standards.Develop predictive models and statistical analyses to forecast trends and measure performance metrics.Recommend process improvements and automation to enhance data workflows and reporting efficiency.Mentor junior analysts and support data literacy initiatives within the organization.Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.Required Skills and QualificationsBachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.Proven experience with data analytics tools such as SQL, Python, R, Power BI, or Tableau.Strong understanding of statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and data mining techniques.Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization best practices.Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and relational database management systems.Exceptional analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.ExperienceMinimum 5+ years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.Prior experience working in a remote or distributed team environment is an asset.Experience in managing or mentoring a team of analysts is preferred.Working HoursFull-time remote position based in Canada.Flexible working hours with core collaboration between 9 AM – 5 PM EST.Occasional meetings may be required outside standard hours depending on project timelines.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Deep understanding of business metrics and the ability to link data insights to business performance.Ability to work independently and maintain productivity in a remote environment.Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest data analytics technologies and trends.Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across diverse teams.BenefitsCompetitive salary package based on experience.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Paid time off, vacation, and holidays.Remote work flexibility with a supportive digital workspace.Ongoing professional development and training opportunities.Performance‑based bonuses and career growth potential.Why Join HR Service JobsAt HR Service Jobs, we believe in empowering our employees through innovation, collaboration, and growth.
