OverviewPosition: Physical Therapist Temporary Part-time (WH PT1 0.60) at AgeCare Walden Heights.At AgeCare, our mission is to empower residents to live their lives to the fullest by prioritizing their health and well-being. Working in long-term care is a calling for many of us.ResponsibilitiesAssess and reassess residents to identify issues and determine rehabilitation needs.Establish residents’ goals and develop, document individual care and treatment plans.Maintain ongoing communication with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a consistent care program.Maintain residents’ statistics.Develop, review, and update policies and procedures for the Rehab Department.May be assigned to orient or supervise employees or volunteers.Ensure equipment and department conditions support a safe environment for residents and staff.QualificationsGraduate of an approved Canadian school of Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy.Must be a member in good standing with the Alberta College of Physiotherapists.AADL Authorizer status is an asset.Experience with MDS and/or RAI.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Demonstrates AgeCare’s values with an empathetic, professional demeanor.Good organization and time management skills.Employment detailsSeniority level: Entry levelEmployment type: Part-timeJob function: Health Care ProviderIndustries: Hospitals and Health CareIf you’re motivated by the privilege of serving our seniors with dignity, respect and compassion, come join us #J-18808-Ljbffr
