Facilities Project Consultant - Temporary Full Time (18 months) Join the Co‑operators team as a Facilities Project Consultant for a temporary full‑time role lasting 18 months. How You Will Create Impact Apply project‑management methodologies to workplace‑design projects, including scope, schedule, status reports and post‑implementation reviews, and communicate plans to teams and clients. Develop productive relationships with internal clients, IT, lease, external consultants, service providers and facility‑management staff. Build a positive team environment, giving timely feedback and recognition to staff and service providers. Communicate and negotiate with project members and clients, coordinate, chair and facilitate meetings. Anticipate and manage project issues, communicating impacts and facilitating solutions. Adapt to changing priorities, ensuring resources support project success. Identify opportunities to improve delivery, expense management and sustainability within workplace‑design projects. Participate in planning to align organizational priorities with resource availability and initiatives. Contribute to the development of project‑management methods, techniques and processes within workplace design and experience. Assist the Manager, Workplace Design in developing and implementing unit plans, goals, budgets, priorities and schedules. Understand vendor products (e.g., commercial office furniture) and workplace programs/standards. How You Will Succeed Innovative mindset to improve operational efficiencies and influence change with a client‑focused approach. Critical‑thinking skills to recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments and propose proactive solutions. Strong communication skills to convey messages clearly and explore diverse viewpoints. Ability to build trusting relationships and guide colleagues’ development. To Join Our Team Degree in architecture, interior design or construction management (or equivalent experience). At least 5 years of successful experience within corporate real estate, interior design, architecture or related fields. At least 3 years of leadership experience. PMP designation, LEED accreditation and WELL AP are assets. Successful project life cycle experience and strong knowledge of workplace design and project management. Proficiency in email, Internet, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. What You Need To Know Occasional travel. Detail‑oriented work requiring focused concentration for extended periods.
