We’re looking for a meticulous and proactive Finance & Billing Specialist to join our growing team in Montreal. In this role, you’ll be dedicated to one of our largest clients, ensuring the accuracy of all financial data behind our media campaigns so everything runs smoothly. You’ll make sure invoices, media plans, and reporting lines are tied up perfectly — keeping clients, vendors, and internal teams in sync. YOUR ROLE As Finance & Billing Specialist within our Media team in Montreal, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of billing operations for one of Cosmo5’s largest clients. You’ll collaborate closely with Media and Finance teams to align campaign execution with financial accuracy and reporting integrity. Key Responsibilities Match vendor invoices with media plans and budgets. Maintain and update media planning tools; participate in Goods Receipts (GRs) on a monthly basis. Automate data extraction and streamline billing workflows. Identify and resolve billing discrepancies, following up on approvals as needed. Track invoices and payments to ensure completeness and accuracy. Generate clear, reliable financial reports comparing media spend to budgets and forecasts. Partner with Media and Finance teams to ensure timely and precise billing. Support the monthly financial close process through reconciliations and reporting. Provide ad hoc financial or operational support to Media teams as required. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, billing, or accounting (experience in an agency or media environment is a strong asset). Proficiency with finance and billing tools (QuickBooks preferred; training provided). Advanced Excel and reporting skills. Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and reliability.
