What will your typical day look like? Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Team Management: Provide strategic direction and leadership to cross‑functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability. Mentor and develop team members, ensuring skill enhancement and professional growth. Define roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities to maintain clarity and efficiency across teams. Strategic Planning and Oversight: Develop and implement plans for software testing and system support activities that align with organizational goals. Manage resource allocation and staffing to optimize productivity and project outcomes. Stay updated with emerging technologies, software testing tools, and industry best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement. Software Testing and Quality Assurance: Oversee the execution of acceptance testing activities, monitor progress, and address issues or roadblocks in a timely manner. Create test strategies, plans, and processes to ensure product quality and timely delivery. Track and prioritize defects identified during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinate with development teams for resolution, and ensure retesting as necessary. Proficiency with software project tools like Azure DevOps (ADO) or Atlassian Jira for creating test plans and test cases, for managing test execution, and for defect management. Provide detailed reports on UAT progress, results, and key findings to stakeholders, highlighting any risks or areas requiring attention. Ensure adherence to change management processes, including leading the review and approval of proposed updates and bug fixes. Programming and System Support: Oversee system support activities, including ServiceNow ticket management and team dashboard development. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in troubleshooting systems issues to identify root causes, workarounds, and problem resolution. Support SharePoint site updates and design enhancements, ensuring seamless collaboration and access management. Manage the creation of acceptance test data using applications built with Microsoft Access and Excel. Write and maintain Python test automation scripts using the Microsoft Playwright web test framework. Collaboration and Communication: Serve as the primary escalation point for software quality and system issues, coordinating resolution efforts across teams. Collaborate with product owners, project managers, and senior leadership to communicate progress, risks, and strategic direction. Align with team leaders on resources for running acceptance tests. About the team Global Risk & Brand Protection protects, preserves and enhances the Deloitte brand. We navigate the dynamic risk landscape across the areas of risk management, confidentiality & privacy, cyber security oversight, regulatory, independence & conflicts, and Anti‑Corruption/financial crimes. We foster trusting relationships across the Deloitte network through collaboration, facilitation and responsive guidance. Enough about us, let’s talk about you Qualifications: Proven experience managing software testing in a regulated product environment. Strong leadership, communication, and people skills to guide diverse teams effectively. Expertise in strategic planning, project management, and quality assurance methodologies. Familiarity in programming languages like Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and Python tools like Azure DevOps, Playwright, and ServiceNow. Knowledge of software development methodologies and change management practices. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage staff and plan resource needs. Total Rewards The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
