The Data Clerk within Health Information is accountable for updating/maintaining Physician Table in main systems within Southlake (for example STAR, PHS, Nuance, HPF, HCI, Medworxx, etc.). The “Physician Table” data is used to send mail and fax clinical reports/results to practitioners. Processing “Return Mail” with full investigation and follow-up to assure future clinical results/reports are sent to the correct practitioner. Processing “Failed Faxes” with full investigation and follow-up to assure future faxes are sent to correct fax number. Also update the Hospital Report Managers subscriber lists within the systems.
